How it All Began

Brandon Brown was giving a televised interview after winning the Sparks 300 race at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama on October 2, 2021. During this interview the crowd could clearly be heard chanting “f*** Joe Biden”. Kelli Stavast, the reporter interviewing Brown, misinterpreted the chant and stated that the crowd could be heard chanting “let’s go Brandon”. Some speculate that Stavast’s intentionally misquoted the crowd to conceal anti-Biden sentiment. Footage of this live broadcast interview went viral; and so, it began.

"Let's Go Brandon" became a political slogan that many people use as a euphemism for "f*** Joe Biden". The slogan quickly spread to popular culture and is now well known and often used by critics of Biden as a way to express their disgust towards him.
